Lil Wayne was just instructed to begin his 1 year prison sentence on Feb 6, 2010 and now he and 11 of his touring members have been detained by the U.S. Border Patrol after a drug sniffing dog made a hit for marijuana during a search tonight (December 18, 2009).
As of 6:30 PM CST, Lil Wayne and his 11 members of the entourage were still in custody. We will have more details as they are released. Lil Wayne was scheduled to perform in Laredo, TX this evening and in Corpus Christi, TX on Sunday. Needless to say those plans have been altered.
