the Polling Station:

Congratulations to Federal Reserve Chairman "Ben Bernanke" for being named the 2009 Time Person of the Year.

Fed Chair Ben Bernanke was named Person of the Year by TIME Magazine for his extremely diligent efforts to thwart the second coming of a Global Depression.

TIME Managing Editor Richard Stengel called the Federal Reserve “the most powerful, least understood government force shaping our lives” as he revealed his magazine’s choice live on TODAY Wednesday morning {excerpt from Laura T. Coffey, Bernanke is TIME's 2009 Person of the Year}.

Tomorrow, the World will find out if Mr. Bernanke will remain the Federal Reserve Chairman. Earlier this year, U.S. President Barack Obama nominated Ben Bernanke to retain his current post for four more years. The World and Global Equity markets will eagerly await Congress' decision. The TIME "Person of the Year" issue will be on newsstands Friday December 16, 2009.

OURBLOC.com would like to again Congratulate Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke on his latest accolade.
