Rants and Rave: Did Jay have Charlamagne fired?

Here is the post courtesy of GlobalGrind.com and Wendyista

After six months on the air in Philly as host of his own morning show, Charlamagne was fired this morning. Why the firing you ask? The PC answer is: "The Beat said they want to move in a different direction." However, many say it's because of an interview with Beanie Sigel, criticizing Jay-Z, that aired last Friday. Jay-Z, allegedly, swooped down on The Beat and Charlamagne was handed his walking papers and his page on the station's Web site removed with the quickness.

Ran's comments:

If these allegations are true, this would be a sad day for the hip hop game to know that Jay-Z stooped this low to take food out of someone's mouth because of an interview. Here is the Charlamagne and Beanie Sigel interview and song:
Yes Jay-Z is a good artist. Yes Jay is dominating the charts, but to have someone fired for doing an interview with another person that says you did them wrong, is seriously bad business. Jay-Z if this is true, all that did was validate what Beanie Sigel stated. I felt the interview was done well and was not aimed to be slanderous; it was one individual’s opinion about a situation that they encountered. What wasn’t in good taste was Jay-Z's response while in Canada conducting an interview.

Since the break up of Roca-Fella Records, there have been numerous rumors, reports, and interviews that exposed the ugly business side of the Hip Hop Titan. One of the most damaging allegations was the song “Big Brother” by Kanye West. I know Jay said it was done tasteful and Kanye was like it was done out of respect to him, but listen to the words of that song. Is that something you want done to you if you are an aspiring anything? Do you want someone who is supposed to be there to help you grow, be the main individual tearing you down? Now here we are again, yet another allegation.

Jay you're 40 years old, if you did this man, it's time to grow up and be an adult. What's next? Are you going to call Google and ask them to remove every blog that says something negative about you and your work? Jay not sure if you ever heard of a document called the "Constitution of the United States" and in this document there is an Amendment. You don't have to look to far into it to see it, here let me help you locate it ... it's the First Amendment "The Right To Free Speech".

Jay-z if you look back on the history of the profession that made you UBER rich, you will see that the Hip Hop game has been fighting for the right to uphold this amendment. I guess since you are JAY-Z it only applies to you and not anyone who speaks out against you. Again if the allegations are true, it's bad business and yet another black eye to an industry littered with black eyes.
