the PICTURE HOUSE: Michael Jackson's "This Is It" Movie Review

I started dancing at the age of 7 and Michael Jackson has played a huge part of fueling my passion. On Wednesday October 28th, Michael Jackson’s “This Is It”, was released. The film is a montage of never before seen footage from his tour, and I was lucky to be able to catch it on opening day. This is one of the best musical documentaries that I have ever seen!

In the film, Michael is so humble, caring, and even comical. It was awesome to see Michael speak to the dancers and musicians he was working with in a calm and kind tone. Throughout the film he kept saying “We’re family” and meant it unlike most artist who just bark orders. Michael actually treated his crew as true members of the family.

The performances were phenomenal and his vocals were on point; probably his best ever. At the age of 50, a man who can move like he did on that film is just amazing. It was almost as if I was watching the young Michael even when he threw in some new school moves.

Oh my gosh, if you were never a fan at first or not even a fan at all, after seeing this you will be on the bandwagon. If you really and truly appreciate music, go and support this film. “This Is It” is not just music documentary, it’s a musical adventure. I thank Michael for blessing us with his gift and many talents. He will truly be missed.

Wow talk about a bad day. Let's set the background for this story. An executive assistant is swamped with work in preparation for the upcoming quarterly meeting. Along comes a document that states that Pepsi has to dispute the allegations being brought against them. Instead of pausing for a moment to forward the letter to the appropriate party, this legal executive assistance pushes the document to the side. She finally gives the appropriate department the legal document but it was days after they were to write a formal dispute; needless to say no one rebutted the claim.

Apathy is not the best policy when dealing with legal matters. As a result, Pepsi is levied with a default settle of a whopping $1.26 BILLION DOLLARS in favor of the plaintiffs. Now the plaintiffs are claiming that Pepsi stole their idea for filtered bottle water back in 1981 and developed Aquafina a few years later with the information...HMMMM sounds quite suspacious to me lol (*i know its misspelled lol*).

The legal think tank for Pepsi has filed several motions disputing the settlement and a hearing has been set for Nov 6, 2009. Hopefully the firm will take this more seriously this time around. In the near term, we have 2 individuals who on paper are wealthy beyond their years, but who knows if it will even stand.

No details have been released regarding the employee, but if she was fired, I’m sure there were grounds for termination lol

the STOOP: He Got 31 Years For Doing What????

Folks I truly can not make this stuff up. Today on the AJC.com Buzz one of the lead stories was about a man who got 31 years for doing something outlandish, ridiculous, but secretly kind of funny. Regardless of how you feel about his acts, the time is definitely not worth the crime.

Oh you want to know what he did huh...well this guy was on trial for home invasion, suffered from mental disorders and I guess just was not happy with his court proceeding. To show his unhappy, the defendant sneaks a bag of his feces into the courtroom and proceeds to act like an orangutan by hurling his terds at the jury and his attorney. Now I know some of you are have the sick face on right now because of the act, but if you think about it, it's kind of funny. *pause for hysterical laughter*

I digress...yes the act was not the most sane of acts, but does the guy deserve 31 years for hurling terd rockets and robbery? No! The guy needs help not jail time for terd propelling. It just upholds the argument that we place people in jail and provide a relentless amount of time instead of addressing their real issues. The mere fact he took a dump in a brown paper bag, snuck it into the courtroom, and then threw barehanded terd balls (similar to a fastball) shows the dude is pretty sick in the head. LOL…

Hey I do not condone what he did, but it did make for a comical news day lol
