When this story first broke, MJB's camp denied that it ever happened. Today the New York Post provided video proof that something happened.
High Level Overview - what had happened was, MJB was mad at her husband for looking at the waitress in the club. She felt he was paying to much attention to her and not to MJB, especially since it was MJB's album release party.
What do you think? She had blown up in front of everyone like that? I mean it is a club right? Weigh in on the boards

the Student Union: 14 Year Old Makes Over $50,000 in Stock Market
As we have stated numerous times in the past, our focus is to bring to the World positive, encouraging news. This is a video story that was done on a 14 year old Financial Wiz Kid who has amassed over $50,000 trading the markets.
At first, I thought it was a joke until I listened to him break down his investment strategy. I've worked in the business for over 3 years and I have colleagues of mine who do not have a strategy anywhere close to this 14 year old normal kid.
Check it out and be sure to share this video with as many people as you can.

the Internal Memo: Christmas through the eyes of Cee Nicole
Tis the season OURBLOC readers,
I can’t speak for you guy, but I must say that Christmas is one of my favorite Holidays. As you can see we’re in the spirit, how do you like the NEW template for the season?? Done by our own Ran…thanks Ran
In today’s society we have to remind ourselves that this Holiday isn’t just about gifts, it’s a celebration for the birth of Christ. Now I’m sure everybody knows the Nativity story with the Virgin Mary, The Wise Men, and Angel Gabriel. Since we do, then you know to not get caught up into buying any and everything but just simply enjoy the little things that surround you (family, friends, etc). Given today’s economy I know I won’t be expecting anything for Christmas but my family, health, and peace of mind... which is enough for me to receive on Christmas Day.
Although I will admit when I was younger and didn’t know any better it was all about the gifts. As I grew older I understood the actual purpose behind Christmas and what it truly represents. I also understood that not everybody celebrates Christmas; some celebrate Kwanzaa and Hanukkah. Each holiday has a significant religious importance and/or tradition to those who celebrate it. Even with the differences, each have similar principles..Peace, Love, Togetherness, Sharing, Joy and Family.
I would like to say Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Kwanzaa to each and everyone.

the Fashion BLOC: Thick or Thin? One Size Fits All
"One Size Fits All" with Terry Richardson's V Magazine shoot challenges the concept that only thin models have what it takes to make it in the fashion industry. Featuring plus-size model, Crystal Renn and model, Jacquelyn Jablonski side-by-side in the same, exact outfits. Terry's goal was to show how extreme fashion can go from 0 to 12 or can it? With that said, what do you think - is thicker hotter or is thin where its at? You be the judge.
See Crystal Renn in Elle Canada...

the Low Down: The Snack Pack Improv Sketch Comedy Show Review
Recently, I had the pleasure of attending The Snack Pack's last show of the year. For those of you who have never heard of the Snack Pack...allow me to enlighten you.
The Snack Pack is comprised of Atlanta's funniest rising actors and comedians, in which this comedic team made its debut at Apache Café this year. Director, Crystle Clear and The Snack Pack gave Atlanta a taste of its originality and innovation with an Improv Sketch Comedy show full of crazy laughs, uncut foolery, and constant crowd participation; because clearly thats what Improv shows are all about! Well, the final show was in one word, hilarious (Hee-Larry-US), which if the rest of the year was this hilarious, I have been truly missing out.
The show began with one of my fave comedians, Cory "Zooman" Miller, who got the show started by having us die laughing with topics about Music to Obama. Then, the Snack Pack hit the stage with their host-est with the most-est, Roderick "Reemo" Thomas, who set the tone for what the Snack Pack is really all about. Each sketch involved each member doing a skit at the reigns of the audience which made it even funnier to watch these talented comedians come up with something off the top of their heads. Where, Reemo kept me laughing all night, thanks to his random comments while the pack performed the impromptu performance.
BEST MOMENTS OF THE NIGHT:
But it didn't stop there, their "Who Stole Christmas" sketch successfully closed out the show - having me cracking up to the very end! I thoroughly enjoyed the show and all of its random antics! Unfortunately, I did not take advantage of the Free Massages (too busy shopping for accessories and clowning with the cast in the back) but I did have the infamous canned Ham, (that I nicely gave back to Reemo), so I won a free hour massage (YAY, me!).
Anyhoot, Overall, I could say the show was funny, refreshing, and much-needed but I still feel like that wouldn't give it the full credit it deserves. Its definitely a must-see... and I look forward to attending their January 16th, 2010 show.

BEST MOMENTS OF THE NIGHT:
- Morgan playing a woman suffering from Tourette's syndrome on a dating show,
- Tyler doing the Heavy Metal interpretation of Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs,
- LT playing the Co-Anchor on "The Snack Pack News" or in other words, The Snack Pack's reinterpretation of real news stories,
- Ameer ('Southside Trill'), as the ghost of Past, Present and Future and his Salsa rendition of Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, and last but not least,
- Big Que, as a pathological liar on a dating show

the Picture House: Avatar Movie Review
Buzz, Hype, Excitement...whatever one wants to call the aurora surrounding James Cameron's newest epic film "Avatar" would be absolutely correct. This 3-D adventure takes movie-goers on a wild emotional ride that will leave you falling in love with forestry, vegetation and bio-research by movie's end.
I do not believe I ever saw a movie that produced as many eyegasms as Avatar did in its 2hours and 46 min run. The special effects of this movie were a character all in itself. They were bold, vibrant, unique, and playful at times. After watching Avatar on an IMAX screen, one can never say they have not seen a more beautiful purple flower or blue person. One can not say they never experienced the surealness of a mountain dancing among the serenity of clouds. The realism that Cameron's effects team brought to screen in 3-D was breathtakingly amazing and even that comment is an understatement.
The storyline was not totally anemic, but parts of the film teetered a fine line of cliche. The cliche feel did not stop the main characters played by Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana from doing a stupendous job. Each actor allowed the character develop and define their importance to the plot. Unfortunately, I felt that there was an attempt among the writers to making the lines bigger than then effects, and unlike Titanic, it was not as powerful. I definitely see a bright future for both main stars after their role in this break out film.

"Avatar" is still a definite must see on a Digital 3D or IMAX screen. It is worth the extra money and you will thank me for it afterwards. My rating 3.5 3D glasses out of 4.

the Mental Relaxation: A Twitter Freestyle Poem
Written by: Jouran Crosby

Love me because I am the only one that will have your back
Love me because I am hard on you not because I'm an ass, but because I only want the best for the inner circle
Love me because I believe in free speech and that an opinion is a means to spark intellectual combustion
Love me because you hate the fact that I love you
Who am I speaking to you ask
I am speaking to you the one I call Friend...

the Stoop: Update on "As Lil Wayne Turns"
It looks like the lucky leprechaun otherwise know as Lil Wayne has dodged a huge legal bullet. After being detained for umpteen hours, Lil Wayne and his entourage were released without one charge being filed. It's been reported that several members received citations for undisclosed infractions, but Lil Wayne did not receive such a citation.
As the adage goes "...every dog has its lucky day..." and I guess for Lil Wayne that day was yesterday. I wonder if he will be able to avoid the headlines prior to reporting to jail in Feb? My bet is $100 on No...lol. In the words of Ed Lover... COME ON SON
